JB Pritzker's Slaves had to reflect and responsibly react. We must not fall for the same divisive tricks and manipulative plays that greedy politicians and racist white people pull on us time and time again. We stand firmly behind The 6, the True Social Equity applicants that received perfect scores. We recognize their contributions, experiences, knowledge, and early interest in the cannabis space.
Further, as we publicly caused harm, we'd like to publicly apologize to our sister Edie Moore. We irresponsibly posted information that wasn't verified; we did not reach out to her as we should have done to hear her part. We seek unity and loyalty with our people and hope that we will (and we will) work towards the social betterment and economic elevation of our black communities. This cannot be done with disrespect and brokenness. It will not be done if we are limited in our thinking, selfish in our approach, and disjointed in our movement towards progress.
We look forward to working with all True Social Equity Applicants, individuals, former and current politicians, and organizations that are fighting to right the wrongs by this piece of legislation that has shut us out while allowing rich and connected white men to dominate the cannabis industry.
The Slave masters used to teach Africans the techniques on how to whip each other. Looking at the picture above we can clearly see that the slave master is in charge. The African doing the whipping has been assigned a task that he must do if he doesn't want to be whipped. But who does the African on the ground being whipped start to develop hatred for????THIS IS HOW THEY TURNED US AGAINST OURSELVES -Learning by Francis
He is allowing this fraudulent and corrupt cannabis license process to continue knowing that these are not true social equity applicants. The Cannabis Industry should be reparations for the racist assault on black people for decades. It should not be a gift to rich white men and taxes for the government that led the assault. We demand access to this industry!
